NICO AMARCA is a Swiss-American stylist, fashion editor, creative director and consultant who works between Los Angeles, New York, Zurich and Asia. Growing up between New York and Bern, Switzerland, Nico's multicultural upbringing and passion for alternative music, underground art, fashion subcultures and indie cinema formed the crux of his creative ethos during his youth.
He received a BFA in Film & TV Production from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, eventually working for renowned auteur filmmaker Darren Aronofsky. Nico soon after accepted a role at visionary Downtown NYC magazine BULLETT, which introduced him to the thrilling world of fashion editorial. He then relocated to Berlin and became a Sr. Fashion Editor at Highsnobiety, where he was a pivotal force in developing the magazine's visual identity and styling point of view. Following suit were titles at several globally distinguished publications and media companies such as HYPEBEAST, Esquire, Greatest Magazine and GOAT.
Nico's styling spans celebrity, campaigns, music videos and editorial. He's worked with brands such as Moncler, Prada, Nike, Dior, Balenciaga, Mugler, Versace, Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, LOEWE, Calvin Klein and TAG Heuer and has also collaborated with notable photographers such as Guy Aroch, Julien Boudet, Synchrodogs, Robbie Fimmano, Shxpir Huang, Jesper Lund, Brandon Bowen, Keith Oshiro and Hannah Sider. Nico's editorial roster includes Numéro, i-D, Highsnobiety, Esquire, ELLE, Behind The Blinds, METAL, Schön!, HYPEBEAST, Les Hommes Publics and more.
